What’s a Bag Person?

A Bag Person is someone who carries a lot of very important stuff with them everywhere they go! No matter where I go I always have all of my paint supplies, a journal, a day planner, my water bottle, sometimes a laptop, snacks … just to name a few! My bag is my lifeline and I had yet to find a bag that really fit the bill.

For years I was sick of using beat-up ancient reusable grocery bags to carry my stuff around with me. I wanted my bag to look cuter (and less buckle and strap-ier) than a backpack, but be much bigger than most hand-bags or purses. I wanted a big, beautiful bag that could carry everything but was still beautiful and even elegant! I wanted a bag that fit any occasion, and that could look really nice even if it was carrying a heavy load. I needed a bag that could hold up to the wear and tear of my adventures.

I finally stumbled upon the perfect bag and got it re-created with some custom tweaks - the most important being using my own custom fabric. Similar to the patterns that are featured on some of the shirts in the Top Shop, these bags are made with fabric that I designed from hand-painted original watercolor florals that then were assembled into beautiful patterns.
