Overview
Join us as we team up with Adventure Fit for an amazing painting retreat in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks!
At the heart of each day will be a visit to a carefully chosen, spectacular vista where Juliene will guide our group in painting the dramatic scene unfolding before us. Meanwhile, Greg with Adventure Fit will be guiding our group on hiking and paddling outings!
Of course we’ll also be visiting many of the unique and fascinating attractions in each of these parks. From geysers to colorful hot springs, plentiful wildlife to geologic wonders, scenic river gorges to alpine lakes and rugged mountain peaks - the beauty and variety is simply endless.
In the evenings we’ll relax in camp and enjoy dinner together, sharing stories around the campfire. For those who prefer not to camp, we offer an upgrade to a rustic cabin or room in a nearby lodge (double occupancy).

What's Included
This experience is all-inclusive. We provide the transportation (from West Yellowstone), painting instruction, food, camping gear, hiking poles, kayaks/paddles/life jackets and paddling instruction if needed.
What's Not Included
- Sleeping bag
- Painting supplies (see below)
- Airfare
- Travel insurance
- Bag or pack to hold supplies and any extra personal supplies you might want to use
- Other expenses guests might incur on their own
The Itinerary
Sunday, August 2 - Meet in West Yellowstone - hopefully in the morning at like 9:00 or 10:00. Work our way through the park towards Grant Village, making stops for painting/hiking/picnic lunch. Arrive at camp by 5 or 6 pm - in time to set up/make dinner etc.
Monday, August 3 - Full day for epic shit in the park wherever we want! Geysers? Hayden Valley/Mt Washburn? Paddling on the lake? All of the above? Painting session, obvs. Overnight at Grant Village again.
Tuesday, August 4 - Pack up camp & take a scenic drive south to the Tetons with more stops/hiking/painting/paddling. Painting session, obvs. Overnight at Colter Bay Tent Village & Cabins.
Wednesday, August 5 - Full day in the Tetons for hiking/painting/paddling. Overnight at Colter Bay Tent Village & Cabins
Thursday, August 6 - Return via ANOTHER scenic drive over Teton Pass through Victor, etc. End retreat at West Yellowstone early to mid-afternoon-ish? 2:00?
Pricing
Price is $1695 per person (+ WA State Tax)
Deposit is $200 to reserve your spot.

Add-on available for a rustic cabin or room in the lodge nearby (double occupancy): $200. Simply select the add-on option when you register.
Painting Information
Painting supplies are not included* on this trip! As an avid adventure painter, I know you'll benefit from having your own supplies anyway! Here are the recommended supplies:
- Watercolor journal
- Painting palette (with mixing surface included on palette)
- Paintbrushes in travel kit
- *one rag and small waterbottle for wash water will be included
